Where? Campus of JGU + Excursions to the surrounding area
Who can apply? Forster Summer School is open for international students and students from JGU enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s or PhD study program.
Number of participants? Places are limited. A maximum of 30 students can participate in the Forster Summer School. 20 places are reserved for students from the participating/sending partner universities. 10 places are open for students of JGU.
Number of ECTS? 3
Accomodation for international students? A youth hostel (with daily breakfast) near the university campus will be reserved in advance. The accommodation costs are to be paid by the students.
Please note: Travel, insurance and visa must be organized and paid independently. Lunch and dinner are at your own cost. There are reasonably priced catering options on campus.
Language requirements: Intermediate English language skills are required. German language skills are not required, but recommended.
How to apply:
International students from our partner universities:
- A form (provided by the team of Forster Summer School/coordinator in your home university) with your contact data, a CV and a ‘motivation letter/letter of interest’ (in English) are required. You will be nominated by your home university.
- Please contact your home university’s forthem office / international office to apply.
- Keep in mind that the process might take some time, so please contact your international office as early as possible.
- Once nominated, please apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship according to the guidelines you will receive from your international office.
